All I Have
A room full of beautiful masks,
A room full of people feigning a strong and feminine facade,
And I chose to be the other
The other—with no face to offer
All I have is my heart.
My heart that is wide enough to accept you beyond your masks
My heart that is big enough to share its love
'Cause pretty much beyond those masks,
are shattered dreams, sleepless nights, and a terrible past
And once again, I offer you my heart.
For I know how it feels to hide behind masks,
to build towering walls,
to pretend that I am whole
All I have is my heart that was shattered,
but made whole with His love
For all I have is my heart willing to give all of its love
Will you gladly accept it?
