You don't know how badly I want to keep you
how badly I want you to stay
how badly I want to hug you and never let you go
Why do you make me feel this way?
torn between doing the same mistake or doing what is right
torn between you and myself
As much as I put these walls behind me,
It's you that I want to give a free pass
but giving you a key means giving you a right to destroy me
and I'm afraid, you will.
I've put a lot of effort to keep these walls high
but here I am, contemplating to whether let you in or keep it guarded.
If I let these walls down, will you promise to guard it?
of course, you wouldn't.
letting you off these walls means allowing you to meet the monster inside me
and you'll despise me for it
and just like what everyone else did,
you will leave me hanging.
